SMS Terms & Notification Policy
VendorXray uses Twilio to deliver SMS notifications to users who opt in. This page explains exactly how your mobile number is used, what we send, and how to stop receiving messages at any time.

Your number stays private
We will never sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile number to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.
Transactional messages only
We only send messages directly related to your VendorXray account — evaluation updates, alerts, and confirmations. No promotional spam.
Opt out any time
Reply STOP to any message and you will be immediately removed. One final confirmation is sent, then nothing further.

1. Who sends the messages
SMS notifications from VendorXray are delivered via Twilio, a third-party messaging platform. Twilio acts as our service provider and processes your mobile number solely to transmit messages on our behalf. Twilio is not permitted to use your mobile number for any other purpose. You can review Twilio's privacy practices at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
2. What messages we send
VendorXray only sends transactional SMS messages. These include:
- Evaluation status updates (e.g., vendor replies received, evaluation complete)
- Account alerts (e.g., login verification, security notices)
- Report delivery notifications
- Opt-in confirmation and opt-out confirmation messages
We do not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages via SMS.
3. How to opt in
You opt in to SMS notifications by providing your mobile phone number within the VendorXray application and expressly consenting to receive text messages. Providing your number is voluntary. You may use VendorXray without enabling SMS notifications.
4. How to opt out
You may opt out at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP to any SMS message from VendorXray
- Email [email protected] with the subject line "Unsubscribe SMS"
- Update your notification preferences within your VendorXray account settings
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
5. Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. VendorXray does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Contact your carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.
6. Your mobile number is never shared
VendorXray will not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number to any third party for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the notifications described in this policy. Your mobile number is used exclusively to send you the transactional messages you have consented to receive.
7. Supported carriers
SMS notifications are supported by most major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support may vary. VendorXray is not responsible for delays or failures caused by your carrier.
